Beverly Jane Jerzakowski / 1935-2009

Beverly Jan Jerzakowski, 74, of South Bend, Ind., died at home at 7:44 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009.

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, at the Seventh Day Adventist ChurchSouth Bend First, 1936 E. Altgeld, South Bend, Ind., with Pastor Theodore Thordarson, officiating.

She was born on June 30, 1935, in Hoopeston, Ill., to Vernon and Olene (Dillard) Vantress.
She was formerly employed as a waitress at Bob Evans Restaurant in South Bend, Ind.
She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church-South Bend First. She enjoyed reading, collecting recipes and dolls. In her younger days, she liked to go to fairs and go roller skating.

On Nov. 26, 1955, in Niles, she married Walter E. “Wally” Kiske-Jerzakowski.
Surviving family include her husband, Wally Kiske-Jerzakowski of South Bend, Ind., five daughters, Connie (Terry) Griffith, Virginia Jacobs, both of South Bend, Ind., Monica Jerzakowski of Buena Park, Calif., Karen (Phillip) Hemminger of Ft. Wayne, Ind. and Tammy Daniels of Buena Park, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two half-brothers, Howard and Charles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son and two sisters.

Memorials may be made to her church.
