Thalemus Kanjucki Jones, 36, of Niles, died at 2 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2012, at Lakeland Community Hospital, Niles.

He was born Jan. 10, 1976, in Chicago. He enjoyed restoring vehicles and going to the gun range.
He married Lisa Jones on May 29, 2004, in Buchanan. She survives.
He is survived by his mother and father, Eugene and Earlean Wingo, of Niles; brother, Kenya Jones, of Niles; sisters, Debra Jones, of Niles, and Vivian Wingo, of South Bend; and Arien.
He was preceded in death by his paternal father, George Jones Jr., and grandmother, Vivian Brew.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 9, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Niles, with Brother Tropp, of the church, officiating.
Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, July 9, at the church.
