Raymond Edward Neldon, 85, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, in Cassopolis, Michigan.
Raymond was born on May 10, 1938, in Searcy, Arkansas to the late Johnny Alexander Neldon and Cora Ethel (Cox) Neldon.
Along with his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carole R. (Dick) Neldon; sons, Ron Neldon and Raymond Neldon Jr; brothers, Charles Neldon and John Neldon and sister, Pat Neldon.
Left to cherish the memory of Raymond is his daughter, Renee Neldon; daughter-in-law, Faye Neldon; grandchildren, Natalie (Garry) Musser and Ron (Jennifer) Greenfield and great-grandchildren, Madison Greenfield, Alyssa Greenfield, Nevaeh Musser, Austin Mitchell, Gavin Mitchell, and MacKenzie (Skylar) Underwood.
His dedication to his wife, Carole, was unwavering; they united in marriage on June 15, 1960, in Niles, MI. They began their journey in Niles, eventually finding bliss on the tranquil shores of Indian Lake, their haven for over two decades.
Raymond’s zest for life was evident in the joy he found on the greens of Plym Park Golf Course, not only as a player but also through his committed work that made the fairways a better place for all. His industrious spirit extended to Tyler Refrigeration, where his skills and reliability were hallmarks of his 30-year tenure.
His memory will be honored as a testimony to a life of love, commitment, and the simple joy of a life well-lived alongside the water he so adored. Raymond’s legacy is imprinted in the hearts of all who knew him, and the echoes of his laughter will resonate across Indian Lake forever.

Per Raymond’s wishes, there will be no services held at this time.
