Former presidential candidate Herman Cain wasn’t lying when he endorsed Jack Hoogendyk for the 6^th District congressional seat last week.

The former pizza mogul has announced he will campaign for Hoogendyk, a Kalamazoo Republican looking to dethrone the long-time incumbent Fred Upton.

Cain and Hoogendyk will make two stops in southwest Michigan April 5, according to a release from the Hoogendyk camp. A rally is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at a location to be announced in the Benton Harbor / St. Joseph area. Another stop will be made 7:30 p.m. in the Kalamazoo area.
