Ruth M. Gibson, 67, of Dowagiac, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020, at her home.

A private burial will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Dowagiac. Memorial contributions in Ruth’s name may be made to the Cass County Humane Society. Those wishing to share a memory of Ruth online may do so at clarkch.com

Ruth was born Dec. 8, 1952, in South Bend, to William and Verna (McNut) Logan. She married the late Louis Gibson, Sr., in 1976 in Dowagiac. Ruth had a love for animals, especially her cats. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Ruth is survived by her son, Louis Paul Gibson; grandchildren, Brendon and Aiden Gibson; four siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis Gibson, Sr.; and three siblings.
