NILES — The Niles-Buchanan YMCA Learning Tree Preschool will host an open house for prospective families from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21. The Y is located at 905 N. Front St., Niles.

The open house will allow those in attendance to see the classroom, meet the teachers, learn about the curriculum, and register for the 2019 to 2020 school year.

The goal of the Y’s preschool program is to provide children with the skills they need to enter kindergarten. Learning Tree Preschool provides initial school experiences, while giving children the foundation to build further academic skills. Children also receive swim lessons and physical education built into the curriculum.

Registration is now open for the 2019-2020 school year. Learning Tree Preschool offers classes for children as young as 3 years old.
