UNION ­— Cass County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a person injury accident near the intersection of US-12 and Robbins Lake Road in Porter Township Saturday.

The accident, which was reported at 9:18 p.m., involved a 36-year-old Three Rivers resident.

Investigation shows that Joshua Leszczewski was negotiating a curve when he crossed the center line of the roadway. Leszczewski then collided with a second vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle was 45-year-old Edwardsburg resident Kristin Levan.

Emergency medical services transported Levsn to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Seat-belts were worn by all involved parties. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor. Assisting in this crash was Newberg Fire and Edwardsburg Ambulance.
