Jane Loris Reinsma, of Dowagiac, born Dec. 28, 1944, passed away at 73 on Dec. 27, 2018, at Wings Home in Allegan, after a brief illness.

Jane was the daughter of Richard and Colene Reinsma. She was employed at the Kalamazoo State Hospital for many years. Later she became a Home Health Care employee, spending several years with Kelly Health Care, and was appointed Nurse of the Year.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father. Surviving are her sister and brother in law Judy and David Arenz, and longtime friend Rosemary McKinnon.

Per Jane’s request, cremation has taken place, and there will be no services. She will be remembered for her intellect and wit, and her great love for animals.
