Gregory Alan Lung, 64, passed on Saturday, April 28, 2018, surrounded by family after a valiant battle with cancer. Greg was born in South Bend, Indiana, on April 6, 1954, to Mervin and Dorothy Lung.

Greg attended Penn High School excelling in wrestling and track before graduating in 1973. Along with stock car racing and trains, Greg enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family but was known for his generosity, kindness and giving of himself to others.

Greg is survived by his beloved wife, Pamela, and four children, Rachel (Abram) Sollman, Andrew (Jenn) Cook, Elizabeth (Adam) Bliss, and Richard (Carol) Cook; 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Greg was preceded in death by his father, Mervin and is survived by his mother, Dorothy, along with his siblings, David (Martha) Lung, Carol (Tom) Long, James (Melanie) Lung, and several nieces and nephews.

A viewing was from 4 to 8 p.m. pm Wednesday, May 2, at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart. A viewing will also be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, May 3, at Grace Bible Church, Elkhart where his funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Prairie Street Cemetery.
