Man arrested for heroin

HOWARD TOWNSHIP — A man was arrested Tuesday for possession of heroin, according the Cass County Drug Enforcement team.

Tuesday, detectives conducted a parole check in the 1100 block of Huntly Road in Howard Township with agents from the Michigan Department of Corrections.

Upon searching the residence, detectives discovered heroin and heroin paraphernalia. 

The parolee, a 24-year-old male, was arrested on charges of possession of heroin.

His name is being withheld pending arraignment in District Court of Cass County.
