Aaron W. Haney

Aaron owned and operated AmeriGreen, LLC, a landscaping company, in Niles for most of his career. He enjoyed having the wind at his back, while riding on his Harley Davidson motorcycle, or boating on Lake Michigan with his family. He was an avid Chicago sports fan and most of all loved spending time with his boys. Aaron could commonly be found teaching and mentoring his boys in sporting activities, dirt bikes, motorcycles, fishing or a good day’s work. His sons were his pride and joy and rarely a conversation would be had without him expressing his satisfaction with the men they are becoming.

Aaron also gave multiple hours to volunteer projects within the community and was always available to help those in need. He had a heart for people that knew no limits.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Susan Haney; son, Shaun Haney and his maternal grandmother, Marjorie Lane.

Aaron is survived by his children, Nicholas J. Haney, Nicholas A. Haney, Ryan Stahl-Haney and Megan Haney; his former wife but best friend, Jackie Haney; grandson, Logan H. Haney; his father, Wayne M. Haney; a brother, Eric (Kathleen) Haney and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
