Keith “KW” Warner

Keith was born July 31, 1951, in Dowagiac to Jasper & Beulah (Johnson) Warner. He graduated from Dowagiac Union High School in 1970. After graduation, Keith drove bus for Cassopolis Schools and later transferred to the high school maintenance department. He was also the assistant wrestling coach for several years. KW changed career directions and attended classes to become a union ironworker. His work took him many interesting places across the United States. Most recently he had returned to maintenance work for Lewis Cass ISD, from where he retired in 2013. KW was always very dependable. If his family ever needed anything, all they had to do was call and he would be there. He was also a jokester. Playing a good joke on someone was to be expected. Keith enjoyed hunting, fishing, growing a beautiful victory vegetable garden, cutting firewood, listening to Harry Chapin, rooting for Notre Dame, and drinking beer.

Keith is survived by his children-Windi (Bryan) Manning of Augusta, Georgia, Tim (Beth) Warner of Dowagiac; seven grandchildren, Dylan Carter, Alyssa (Mitchell) Hampton, Taylor (Bryant) Hernandez, Kyleigh Carter, Cannon Williams, Allison Warner & Jackson Warner; three brothers, Jay Warner of Cassopolis, Dale Warner of Niles, Gordon (Debbie) Warner of Sister Lakes; a special niece Rhonda (Patrick) McCauslin of Edwardsburg; his Thirsty Thursdayfriends along with many other nieces, nephews & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers-David & Tim Warner.
