Edward Cottledge, 70, of Ypsilanti, died peacefully Monday, Feb. 5, 2018, in St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor.
He was born Jan. 31, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan to Edward Bland and Emma Cottledge.
Also known as Eddie, he will be greatly missed by family and friends.
He is survived by three sisters, Carol Omega Robinson of Cassopolis, Yvonne Bland (Chris Chism) of Chicago, Illinois, and Veloures Deans of Niles, Michigan; one brother, James (Sharon) Cottledge of Ypsilanti, Michigan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Family and friends will gather Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, from 11 a.m. until time of service at noon in Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, 202 North Broadway St., Cassopolis, with the Reverend Johnny Anderson officiating. Edward will be laid to rest in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Cassopolis.
