Betty J. (Green) True, 87, passed away at 5:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22, 2018, in Grace Nursing Facility.
Betty was born Aug. 27, 1930, in Marked Tree, Arkansas, to the late Benjamin H. Green and Bessy (Morrow) Chism. On Feb. 26, 1955, in Niles, Betty married Jack R. True and he passed away on Feb. 16, 2006.

Betty is survived by children, Kenneth R. (Patricia) True, and Jacqueline L. (Randy) Thomas; grandchildren, Thera L. Thomas, Amber (Thomas) Byers, Cory Thomas and Zachary Thomas; great-grandson, Connor Byers; and nephew, Jerry Glass and his family.
Betty was a Hand folder at Simplicity Pattern Company for 42 years. She enjoyed traveling and cooking with her family. She loved her family, especially her great-grandson, Connor.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, in Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home, 615 E. Main St. Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.
