I’ve known Patrick Bakeman for more than 30 years.

He has always been a reliable, hard working and thoughtful person.

He is committed to Dowagiac. He supports local sports and theater. He operates a local business. He raises his family in Dowagiac.

You won’t find another person more committed to finding opportunities for the betterment of Dowagiac than Patrick Bakeman.

I’ve spent nearly 20 years of my life in public service. In my conversations with Pat, he has always given me great reason to believe he cares deeply about public safety. I think the Dowagiac Police Department and Fire Department would have no better friend than Pat.

Although I no longer live in Dowagiac, I still feel compelled to endorse Pat and encourage everyone in Ward 1 to vote for him to serve on city council Tuesday.
