OSCEOLA — Jeannie Hambrick, 63, passed away Tuesday evening at home.

Kay was born to Clyde and Dean (Goodman) Conley in Mishawaka. She had lived in the Michiana area her entire life.

She was a member of the South Side General Baptist Church. Kay was very devoted to God as she was an ordained minister and spent several years ministering women at St. Joseph County Jail where she was well known for passing out religious books. She also was in several bible study groups.

Kay enjoyed her flower gardens and cooking. She was a hair stylist for many years. Kay and her husband Doyal enjoyed going out and dancing the night away.

Kay’s greatest love of all was her children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Kay is survived by spouse Doyal, five children Jeremy (Shaune) Thompson, Brandon (Jennifer) Thompson, Jason Hambrick, Brandy Hambrick, Danielle Hambrick four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, brothers Bruce Conley and David(Linda) Conley. A gathering of friends and family will be Friday March 18, 2016, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Highway Osceola, Indiana 46561 from 4 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be Saturday March 19, 2016, at 1:30 p.m. with a one hour prior visitation at the South Side General Baptist Church 1615 South Spring St. Mishawaka, Indiana with Pastor Jeff Little officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 in Kay’s memory.
