Allen Lawrence Stattler, 41, of Dowagiac, passed away on Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, in Warsaw, Indiana.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at Clark Chapel & Cremation Services, 405 Center St., Dowagiac, with Pastor Jack Midkiff officiating. Burial will follow at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. Allen was born May 10, 1974 in Berrien Springs, Michigan to Bobby & Sharon (Hamm) Stattler. He graduated from Dowagiac Union High School in 1992. Allen worked in the RV manufacturing industry at Heartland RV in Elkhart, Indiana. He enjoyed fishing and loved his family with all of his heart; his boys were his whole world.

Allen is survived by his mother Sharon (stepfather Lee) Koebel of Berrien Springs; his father, Bobby Stattler of Sumnerville; two sons, Zachary and Devin Stattler of Dowagiac; grandmother, Nellie Pumphrey; brother, Bobby Stattler of Dowagiac; sisters, Glenda Stattler of Vandalia, Illinois, Tammy (Mark) Black of Berrien Springs; stepsister, Sherrie (Dale) Herter of Dowagiac; his sons mother, Kristy (Ken) Blakemore and her parents Dale (Sue) Newton; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Odda (Lilliemae) Hamm and William A Stattler. Allen’s close friend and fishing partner Dustin Reaker also passed.
