Sherri L. Scott, 58, of Niles, passed away in South Bend on Monday, Nov. 2, 2015, suddenly, of natural causes.

She was born in Niles to the late Randolph and Clara (Lyons) Scott.
Sherri was a gifted writer and enjoyed journalism and poetry. She enjoyed watching movies and found that spending time with her friends and family made her the happiest. Sherri will be remembered for her very generous giving heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Rudean Scott.
Sherri leaves to remember her two sons, Jerred Scott and Justin (Ylonda) Scott of Niles, ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two brothers, Gregory Scott of Iowa and Randolph Scott Jr. of Niles, four sisters; Jimmie Mae (Anthony) Newton of Chicago, Illinois, Caroline (Bill) Borris of Naperville, Illinois, Jacquelyn Scott of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Tracy Scott of Michigan, along with a host of nieces, nephews and countless lives she touched as well as a special friend until the end, Pamela Jo Perry.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 9, 2015, at Noon with a time of visitation beginning at 11 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Bryant L. Bacon, Sr., officiating.
