Donna Moulton, 86, of Dowagiac, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015, on the family farm where she was born.

Donna was born on June 30, 1927, as the second daughter of Marion and Verna Wilkinson. Donna graduated from Dowagiac High School in 1945. After training and graduating from the County Normal program she became a teacher at Hill School.

In 1948 Donna wed Clifford B. Moulton and the two actively farmed Willow Way Farms for many years raising asparagus, strawberries, raspberries, peas, green beans, cantaloupes, potatoes and two children.

Donna was preceded in death by her sister, Lucile Sell in 1963; her husband, Cliff in 1989; and her grandson, John Hunsberger in 1997.

She is survived by her son, Scott Moulton of Dowagiac; daughter, Cheri (Mark) Shepard of Dowagiac and one grandson Jay Hunsberger of Dowagiac.

A celebration of Donna’s life will be held on the family farm in June. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Cass County Council on Aging.
