Patricia Ann Primley, 62, of Decatur, passed away Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015, in Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo.

Patricia was born Oct. 27, 1952, in Dowagiac, the daughter of Harold Leroy and Patricia Mary (Barnes) Primley. She was a registered nurse and was employed by Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital in Dowagiac for several years.

She was a member of the Women’s Chapter No. 1508 of the Moose Lodge in Dowagiac.

Survivors include a daughter, Dawn Calkins, of Buchanan; a son, John (Jenn) Calkins, of Tellico Plains, Tennessee; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters: Rosemary (Tom) Stull, of Decatur, Linda Zablocki of Niles, Chritine (David) Green of Dowagiac, a sister-in-law, Carol Primley, of Dowagiac and a significant other, Tony Walker, of Decatur.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Kirt Alan Calkins and a brother, Harold Primley, Jr.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Newell Funeral Home, Decatur, with James Abshagen officiating.

Cremation will follow the services.
