Today, we have both the biggest challenge our country has faced in many years and one of the best opportunities.

Our federal government has lost its way. The current administration has forgotten that it is to serve us: “We The People.”

We have been lied to, our Constitution has been trampled and our country has been demeaned and weakened by those sworn to serve our best interests. Nearly 360 constructive House bills have been rejected outright at the hands of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. There is no willingness to serve the public good. It is time to reclaim the U.S. Senate for the people of Michigan and the other 49 states.

So here is the good news! We have an opportunity we haven’t had for over 20 years. We have the real chance to reclaim the U.S. by electing new members who will have our back. With the retirement of Senator Carl Levin, we can elect Terri Lynn Land as our new Michigan U.S. Senator. Terri brings a wealth of experience and so many good ideas to the table. My favorite is her plan for keeping more of the gas tax money we send to Washington and use it to fix our own crumbling roads and bridges. Can you believe it? She is actually suggesting a larger portion of Michigan’s own gas tax revenue be used for our own state’s immediate needs. We should stop being a donor state and be a receiver state for a change. The need is here, and Terri will be our champion!

The Federal Government should work for us, not the other way around. Electing Terri is one important step we can take to reclaim the U.S. Senate. We will be helping Michigan and all Americans. Please vote for Terri Lynn Land to be Michigan’s next U.S. Senator! Thank you!
