Judith (Judy) Kay Wirick Morrison, 61, of Niles, passed away at Lakeland Hospital surrounded by family.

Judy was born Aug. 8, 1953.

She was preced in death by her parents, Evelyn and Theodore Wirick, Sr., of Niles; one sister, Evelyn Ann Clearly, of Hartford; two brothers, Ted (Sonny) Wirick, of Dowagiac and Larry G. Wirick, of Tennessee.

Judy married Jim Morrison in 1974. Survivors include son James “JW’ (Ashley Carpenter) Morrison, of Buchanan; sister Linda (Jim) Crocker, of Niles; brothers Warren (Shirley) Wirick of Cassopolis; Edward (Sharon) Wirick, of Evart, Michigan; William Wirick, of Niles; John (Catherine) Wirick, of Niles; a brother, Glenn Wirick of Niles. Grandchildren are James, Chatin, Kendall and Maddie. Judy’s grandchildren and nieces and nephews were her greatest joy.

Judy worked at Lakeland Hospital for several years.

A memorial will be held for Judy at Hope Community Church on Lake Street in Niles on Sept. 13, 2014, at Lakeland Hospital for several years.
