Nov. 6, 1927 — July 24, 2014

Thomas F. Sarratore, 86, died on July 24, 2014 in Tampa, Florida. Sarratore was born Nov. 6, 1927, in Niles, Michigan and had a long and successful career with the Bendix Corporation.

He retired in 1992 and devoted much of his time to genealogy.

Sarratore was a veteran of the US Army serving in Japan immediately after WW II.

He married Phyllis Crippen in 1951, who preceded him in death on July 31, 2008.

He is survived by his sons Bruce of Tampa, Florida; Brian (Tina Secondo) of Avon, Ohio; Steven (Janet) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his grandchildren Alana Mulford (Gregory), Andrew Sarratore (Lindsey Jenkins-Stark), Sheila Chabot (Matthew), Leah Protiva (Michael); and his great-grandson Austin Mulford.
