Trung Hue Truong, 82, of Cassopolis, died peacefully Saturday, May 17, 2014, at his residence.

Trung was born November 22, 1931, in Vietnam to Van Dat Truong and Thi Nghiem Truong.

Trung worked for the Chinese government as a writer, but his true passion was his art. He painted landscapes, flowers, animals and people.

Trung will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by one brother, Chien Chang of Taiwan; four nieces, Wah Truong and Y Truong, both of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Chau Truong of Fresno, California, Amy Troung of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and one nephew, Chan Truong of Novato, California.

Family and friends will gather at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 25, 2014 in Cass Fellowship Bible Church, 64016 M-62 South, Cassopolis. Mr. Truong’s remains will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, California.
