Thank you Dowagiac Chamber of Commerce and Dowagiac merchants for hosting Summer in the City.

There were many activities and events of which to be proud.

Children could enjoy the rides, the jump toys and the horse and wagon rides along with the face painting.

The dance companies featured their students with many wonderful performances.

The Latino dancers were excellent.

The return of the beer tent put a different slant on the events that were very family friendly.

Once again, after many years absence, it was sad to see this event revived.

We want to keep our summer festival completely family friendly and safe for all.

The congregation of Michiana Church of Christ would request that the Chamber reconsider the necessity of having this next year.

Let’s keep this event for families.
