Mary Alice Lundberg, 87, of Niles, Mich. died on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Brentwood at La Porte Assisted Living. She was born March 7, 1926 in Wilmington, Vermont to Guy E. and Svea (Johnson) Nido.

Mary was a civilian weather observer for the Army-Air Corps. She enjoyed playing the piano and even sang on the radio with her sister in the 1930. On May 25, 1946 in South Bend she married John Robert Lundberg, who preceded her in death on March 6, 1986.
Mary is survived by two sons; John Robert Lundberg, Jr. of San Saba, Texas and Scott Alan (& Jean) Lundberg of Niles and grandson Robert Alan Lundberg of Niles. Also surviving are sisters Ruth Wright and Jane McCarthy and one brother; Guy E. Nido, Jr.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two sisters; Elnora Scribner and Cathy Jenkins.
A Memorial Service for Mary Alice Lundberg will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Mausoleum Chapel at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, Niles with the Rev. Daniel D. Miller of First Missionary Church, officiating.
