Joseph C. Anderson Jr., 64, a lifetime resident of Buchanan, passed away on

Dec. 20, 2012, in the VA Medical Center in Ann Arbor from a long illness.

Joseph was preceded in death by his mother (the late) Vella Copley and his father, Joseph C. Anderson Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Sue Anderson; two sons, Chris Anderson of South Bend, Ind., and Dontae Murphy, of Niles; a daughter, Mary Norris, of Coloma; one brother, Angelo Copley of Holland; two sisters, Angela Anderson and Vella Akyolcu,

of Boston, Mass.; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one niece; and a host of cousins.

Services will be held at 1pm, Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at Hoven Funeral Home, with visitation two hours before the service at the funeral homes.
