CASSOPOLIS — Maxine Evelyn Stull, 93, of Cassopolis, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012.

Evelyn was a lifelong resident of Cassopolis, born on March 23, 1919, to Maxwell and Ethel (Reits) Morris. She married Vern Abraham Stull on June 1, 1936,

in South Bend, Ind. Her husband preceded her in death.

She was also preceded by one daughter, Joyce Edmunds; and one grandson, Dale Wayne Ogrin.

Evelyn worked beside her husband Vern on their farm. Vern’s and Evelyn’s favorite

times were spent together going to auctions and shopping on rainy days.

Evelyn will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by one daughter

and son-in-law, Joan and Dave Ogrin of Cassopolis; one son-in-law, Leonard Edmunds of Cassopolis; two sisters-in-law, Helen Crouse of Cassopolis and Agnes Conway of New Buffalo; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great- great grandchildren; and her dog, Smokey.

Family and friends will gather from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 on Saturday, Dec. 22, in Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, 202 N. Broadway St., Cassopolis, with the Rev. Dave Turley officiating.

Mrs. Stull will

be laid to rest beside her late husband in Crane Cemetery, Volinia Township.
