Cleveland Lonnie Wilson Sr., 94, of Carlock, Ill., formerly of Dowagiac, passed away on Nov. 27, 2012, in Bloomington, Ill.

He was born Oct. 22, 1918, in Ocala, Fla., to Ed and Ada (Blackmon) Wilson.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and a door repairman at Jessup Door Co.

On July 12, 1959, in Cassopolis, he married Mary (Vaughan) Wilson, who preceded him in death.

Also preceding him in death are his parents, Ed and Ada Wilson; son, James Wilson; brothers, James and Solomon Wilson; and sisters, Alice Williams and Mariaha Wilson.

Surviving family includes his children, Cleveland (Carolyn) Wilson Jr., of Dowagiac, Charlie (Robbie) Wilson, of Nashville, Tenn., Ronny Wilson, of Lansing, Martha (Kevin) Williams, of Southfield, Pearlie Love, of South Bend, Ind., and Ada (James) Fenton, of Carlock, Ill.; 27 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 100 Miller St., Dowagiac, with Pastor Tonnie Blackamore officiating.

Visitation will be two hours before the service at the church.

Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery.
