Harley “Bunk” Webber passed away at 9:43 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, at his home in Berrien Center.

He was born in Niles on Aug. 12, 1933, to Lillian and Lyle Webber.

Harley retired from New York Central Railroad in 1980, and was then self-employed as a furniture refinisher until his health problems.

His greatest joy was his grandkids, nieces and nephews.

On May 12, 1953, Harley married Martha Ann Shelton, who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Debra (JD) White of Osceola, Ind., Sheryl (Michael) Coburn of Stevensville, Cindy (Bill) Rough of Niles and Pam (Don) Priest of Eau Claire; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, with one due in February. Harley is also survived by three sisters, Joann Lewis of Niles, Phyllis Holstein of Buchanan and Betty McKimmey of Elkhart, Ind..

Harley requested no services. Memorials can be made in his name to the Berrien Center Bible Church or Hospice at Home, Inc. of St. Joseph.
