Jerald Wyatt Morgan, 59, of Manchester, Tenn., passed away Wednesday morning, July 25, 2012, at Horizon Health & Rehab in Manchester.

Mr. Morgan was born in South Bend, Ind., the son of the late John and Modena Slatton Morgan. He was a resident of Manchester for more than 25 years, having moved to the area from Niles. He was employed by the Tullahoma Housing Authority and was a member of New Union Church of Christ. He loved trains, motorcycles, four-wheelers and fast cars; enjoyed woodworking; and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Morgan was also preceded in death by a grandson, Gavin Brasher.

He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Morgan; two daughters, Wendy Morgan, of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Jennifer Morgan, of Manchester; five brothers and sisters, Andy Morgan, of Manchester, Rita Anderson, of Springhill, Tenn., LeAnn Duke of Cookeville, Tenn., Linda Johnson, of Melbourne, Fla., and Paul Morgan of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; and three grandchildren, Bella, Trevor and Deitric Schweitzer.

Funeral services for Jerald Wyatt Morgan will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at New Union Church of Christ with Bro. Charles Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation with the Morgan family will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 27, at Manchester Funeral Home, and the body will lie in state at the church from noon until time of services.
