All-Stars third at Eaton Park

The Dowagiac 9-10 All-Stars finished third out of eight teams at the Eaton Park Invitational Sunday.

Dowagiac edged Lakeshore 11-10 in its first game with Madison Potter earning the MVP/Sportsmanship Award.

In its second game, North Lincoln defeated the all-stars 16-10. Taylor Pye was the MVP/Sportsmanship winner. Dowagiac rebounded to defeat Lakeshore 21-17. Taquanna Williams was the MVP/Sportsmanship Award winner.

In the semifinals, Dowagiac was defeated by North Lincoln 22-14. Potter again earned the game award.

The all-stars still have tournaments in Coloma and Lakeshore.

Softball

The Dowagiac Junior Division softball team finished third at the Hartford Invitational. The all-stars will also compete in tournaments in Coloma and Niles yet this summer.

The 7-8 All-Star team took fourth out of 10 teams in district action. It will be continuing its post season at Coloma and Lakeshore.

The 11-12 All-Star squad recently competed in the Eaton Park Invitational. No results were available at press time. The team will also compete in the Coloma and Lakeshore tournaments.

The Senior Division All-Stars will be competing in the Little League Sectionals July 16-18.

Baseball

The 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14 All-Star teams will all be competing in the upcoming Coloma and Lakeshore tournaments.

The 9-10 All-Stars recently won the Paw Paw Tournament, defeating Hartford 12-0 in the championship game.
