Diamond Jaxx win Summer Blastoff

The West Michigan Diamond Jaxx won the Summer Blastoff at Ho Chunk in Lynwood, Ill. held June 16-17.

The Diamond Jaxx went 3-0 in pool play, outscoring their opponents 30-8.

The team earned the No. 1 seed heading into elimination play. The Diamond Jaxx beat the Orlando Park Magic 3-2 in the semifinals and then claimed the title with a 12-2 win over the Duneland Flyers.

The Diamond Jaxx will play in the USSSA State Tournament in Canton next weekend. The team is ranked No. 1 in the state of Michigan in the USSSA Conference for points and power ratings.
