Pet of the week/first prize kittens

Published 3:18 pm Friday, June 8, 2012

Week two of National Adopt A Shelter Cat Month features First Prize Kittens, who ought to be on the cover of Cute/Adorable Magazine. They are very fuzzy, cuddly and soft. They are 8 weeks old and ready for a quiet new home. The calico in the middle is mostly black with a nose stripe of orange and white mittens. She is the only female. Her brothers have varying amounts of orange and white. All have fluffy long hair. First Prize Kittens are clean in their litterbox use, and are learning grooming from their longhaired calico mom. She is also up for adoption. Because these kittens are so small, we recommend no small children. All will need their shots and spay/neutering at the proper time. These truly are First Prize Kittens, making you say “Awww!”
Last week’s adoptions include Hank, the boxer. Toby the cat and the above calico kitten were adopted also. Cats and kittens by the boxful have been arriving. Celebrate Adopt a Shelter Cat Month — adopt a feline. Come, meet, adopt!
