The driver Nathan Keith Ruems, 27, and passenger Jeremy William Modlin, 16, were taken by ambulance to Lakeland Community Hospital in Niles and treated for injuries, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

Police said Ruem was traveling west on Terminal Street east of Airport Road when he lost control of the vehicle and ran off the roadway at 11:45 a.m.
