Coloma man faces meth charges

COLOMA — Berrien County authorities made three arrests in a Coloma Township methamphetamine laboratory seizure at 1:45 p.m. Friday, according to Det. Lt. Robert Boyce of the Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office’s narcotics unit and Watervliet Township road patrol were assisted by the Coloma Township Police Department and the Michigan Department of Corrections Parole Division.
Kirk Michael Parrigin, 42, of 5617 Paw Paw Lake Road, room eight, Coloma, faces charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, generating hazardous waste; manufacturing methamphetamine within 500 feet of an occupied dwelling; and methamphetamine possession.
Also arrested were: William Walter Copeman, 42, of Benton Township, for resisting and obstructing a police officer and a parole violation detainer; and Amanda Lee Alsup, 29, of Coloma, on a parole violation detainer.
