Orville A. “Artie” Goss, 60, of South Haven, passed away at 1:13 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2011, at his home.
Artie’s life began on Jan. 26, 1951, in Hartford, the son of Orville and Mildred R. (Lewis) Goss.

He served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam, earning a Purple Heart amongst other medals and citations.
Artie worked as an excavator. He was a member of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians.

He is survived by: his sisters, Marlene Bradley of South Haven, Charlotte Gunter of Arkansas and Colleen Frost of Detroit and brother Roger Frost of Fowlerville; children, Angel Morseau of Baraga and George Morseau of Hartford; nephews, Ryan, Thomas, Mark and Roger Smith; significant other, Lori Ruiz; and many good friends.
Artie is preceded in death by sister Cheryl Moore and brother Kenneth Frost.

His family will gather with friends on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Yazel and Clark Chapel, where his funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. He will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Cemetery (Silver Creek) following the service.
