NILES — Edward E. “Gene” Thompson, 66, of Berrien Springs, passed away at his home on Monday, Nov. 29, 2010.

Gene retired as a foreman from Asarco Copper in Amarillo, Texas.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Dec. 2, at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel, 61453 M-51 North, Niles, at 1 p.m. with visitation one hour prior.

Memorial donations may be made in Gene’s memory to Hospice at Home Inc. or to the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Niles.
