Ruth V. DuFour, 91 of Cassopolis, died Monday, Nov. 15, 2010 at Cassopolis Health Care Facility, Cassopolis.

She was born Dec. 11, 1918 in Porter Township, Mich. to George and Verna (Ryan) Hall. She married Allen DuFour in Elkhart, Ind. Nov. 24, 1943. He preceded her in death on June 17, 1978. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Kenneth DuFour; one sister, Lucille Dick; and three brothers, Chester Hall, Welcome Hall and Kenneth LeVern Hall.
Ruth lived her entire life in Cass County. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Marcia Wilcher of Livonia; son and daughter-in-law, Philip and Karen DuFour of Three Rivers; daughter-in-law, Nancy DuFour of Union; four grandchildren, Pam (Jason) Vary, Grand Ledge, Dawn (Aaron) Mallo, Jones, Bryan (Hillary) DuFour, Edwardsburg, and Robert DuFour, Three Rivers; five great-grandchildren, Mckenzie and Jaron Mallo, Matthew and Annalise Vary and Brady DuFour; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends gathered Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Connelly Chapel, Wagner Family Funerals, Cassopolis, and from noon until time of service at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010 at Chapel Hill Church, 14525 Chapel Hill St., Union. The Rev. Ken Bontreger will officiate.
Interment will follow in Kessington Cemetery.
The family prefers memorial contributions be made to Chapel Hill Church, 14525 Chapel Hill St., Union, MI 49130.
