Lorayne Marjorie Tyler, 89, of Niles, passed away Aug. 14, 2010 at West Woods Nursing Home where she was cared for and truly loved.
Lorayne was born on Aug. 2, 1921 in Chicago.
She worked at Electro-Voice as a purchasing manager for 30 years.
On Aug. 2, 1981 she married John Tyler, the love of her life, in Niles.
Lorayne is preceded in death by her husband, John Tyler; parents; and brother, Jack Rizzo.
She is survived by a son, Jim (Charlene) Anderson of Spring Hill, Fla.; grandson, Jayson (Nancy) Lynn of Palm Harbor, Fla.; three daughters, Joyce (Bob) Freshley of Niles, Janice Anderson of Florida, Jill Cooper of Missouri, two stepsons, John (Judy) Tyler of Barrington, Ill., Mike Tyler of Mt. Prospect, Ill.; a stepdaughter, Donna (Ed) Wojdyla of Hoffman Estates, Ill.; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, James (Alice) Rizzo of Chicago, Ill.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28 at the First Missionary Church of Niles with Pastor Dan Miller officiating.
