WOODSTOCK, Ill. – Former Dowagiac resident Jack Lillie passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at his home in Woodstock.

He was born Nov. 16, 1933, in Kalamazoo, to Warren and Katherine Lillie.

He is survived by: his wife, Betty, whom he married Jan. 16, 1955, in Long Beach, Calif.; his children, Steve (Maria), Ron (Lisa) and Brian Lillie; his grandchildren, Michael, Richard, David, Lindsey and Zachary; his great-grandchild, Ethan Shelton; four sisters, Fran, Sharon, Janelle and Connie; one brother, Lonnie; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Richard, David and Joe.

A memorial service took place at 2 p.m. Monday, June 14, at the mausoleum chapel of McHenry County Memorial Park, 11301 Route 14 (a half mile east of Route 47), Woodstock.
