BENTON HARBOR – The Niles golf team finished sixth at the Point O’Woods Invitational on Monday afternoon.

Battle Creek Lakeview won the tournament with a score of 320. Kalamazoo Hackett finished nine strokes back at 329, while Battle Creek Harper Creek took third with a 331.

Mattawan (337) and St. Joseph (340) rounded out the top five. Niles finished with a 341.

Kory Roberts of Battle Creek Lakeview captured medalist honors with a 73.

Niles was led by Chris Noble’s 77, which was good for third place overall.

The Vikings also got an 85 from John Schrader, an 89 from Brett Phillips, a 90 from Jared Langmeyer and a 98 from Cole Hensel.
