Teens charged with theft

Two teens have been charged for suspected theft at the home of a Niles Township resident who recently died.
Michigan State Police Niles troopers responded Wednesday to the scene of a break-in and vehicle theft at a home on Lewis Drive in Niles Township.
A 20-year-old Niles resident and 19-year-old Indianapolis resident were arrested and confessed to the crimes. A stolen vehicle was recovered as well as additional property taken during the break-in.
The suspects are charged with breaking and entering; larceny in a building; UDAA vehicle theft; receiving and concealing stolen property; theft of stolen property; and possession of schedule 4 narcotics.
