Wade’s life began on May 14, 1954, in Fort Smith, Ark., the son of Doyle and Ann (Harris) Telaar.

Wade, 55, of Cassopolis, was united in marriage in August of 1992 to Denise Stegall Telaar, who preceded him in death in 2006.

Wade had been employed by Mennel Milling Co. in Dowagiac and most recently by Coca Cola in Paw Paw.

He and Denise were master gardeners, operating Enchanted Gardens.

They loved to be together working outside.

His family includes: his mother, Ann Telaar of Dowagiac; sister Jane (Andy) Anderson of Dowagiac; stepsons, Daniel (Stephannie) Hoff of Fort Wayne and Charles (Noriko) Hoff of Okinawa, Japan; nieces and nephews, Timothy (Casey) Anderson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Joshua (Mary Brown) Anderson of St. Louis and Dale (Stephanie) Anderson of Livonia; step- grandchildren, Mike Hoff and John Hoff, both of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Cole Hoff and Emmy Hoff, both of Okinawa; great-nieces, Julia Robinson and Victoria Anderson, both of Cedar Rapids, and Amelia Anderson of Livonia.
Wade passed away on Nov. 27, 2009, at his home.

In addition to his wife, Wade is preceded in death by his father, Doyle Telaar.
His family will gather with friends on Sunday, Feb. 7, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Yazel and Clark Chapel, where his memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. led by Pastor Jon Den Houter.

Private interment will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions in Wade’s name may be directed to Cass County Animal Control.
