The Dowagiac freshmen and junior varsity girls’ basketball team swept a pair of games from visiting South Haven Tuesday night.

The Chieftain freshmen team posted a 27-24 win over the Lady Rams, while the junior varsity squad rolled to a 41-20 win.

Kristyn Turner led the Dowagiac freshmen squad with seven points.

Rachel Bailey and Davaughna Huff both scored six points.

Kelsie Primley scored a game-high 26 points to pace the junior varsity Chieftains.
Carly Polomcak added 10 points.
