Robert Henry Langworthy, Sr., 57, of Cassopolis

Robert Henry Langworthy, Sr., 57, of Cassopolis, died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, in his residence.

Robert was born Aug. 26, 1956, in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Kent and Barbara (Brinkert) Langworthy. His father survives. He was preceded in death by his mother and one son, Robert Langworthy, II.

Robert was a concrete contractor. He was a great lover of the outdoors and football. He will be remembered for a trip down Boise River on an inner tube. His mother and father and himself made a trio of bumpy rides.

Robert will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his father, Kent Langworthy of Cassopolis; two grandsons, Taylor Langworthy and Robert Langworthy, III; one sister, Mary (James) Peoples of Dallas, N.C.; two brothers, Kevin (Kathy) Langworthy of Lawrence, David Langworthy of Cassopolis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Family and friends will gather for a Mass at a time and date to be announced.
