Police are seeking information in the third local missing person case in a week and a half.

Emily Herman, 26, has been reported missing from Howard Township in Cass County.

Herman, a white female described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and 175 pounds with dark brown, short hair, got into an argument with family members Monday at about 5:30 p.m.

“She has really no known location,” Trooper Chris Pena of the Michigan State Police Niles Post said Tuesday afternoon. “She went out walking last night and didn’t return.”

Herman was last seen walking westbound on Impalla Drive toward M-51, in the Misty Acres subdivision.

She is emotionally impaired and without her prescribed medication, she could have an adverse reaction. She was wearing a pink, V-neck T-shirt with a purple design, black yoga-style stretch pants and she was barefoot.

The family and Michigan State Police are asking anyone with additional information to contact the Niles Post at 683-4411.

The first two missing persons have been found.

Mary Schulz, 91, was reported missing from the Brentwood Assisted Living Facility in Niles July 8. She was found two days later on South Third Street. She was hospitalized, and the circumstances surrounding her disappearance are under investigation.

The second missing person, Charles Wagner, 43, of Cassopolis was gone for nearly two weeks before he was discovered near Stone Lake in Cassopolis on Saturday. He was taken to the hospital with dehydration. Police are still investigating the case.
