Lillian L. Helmlinger

Lillian L. Helmlinger, age 91, of Jackson, (formerly of Mishawaka) passed away peacefully on Feb. 11, 2013 with her children by her side.

She was born Oct. 20, 1921 to the late Earl and Lillian (Hefley) Wolber in Dixon, Ill. On Jan. 12, 1941, she married Richard A. Helmlinger who preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 1982. She was a homemaker, and a farmer’s wife who enjoyed cardinals, ceramics, sewing, her yard and flower gardens.

Lillian is survived by two daughters; Bonnie Delio of Rantoul, Ill. and Connie (Dennis) Herrschop of Osceola, Ind. Also surviving are her son Raymond, (Debbie) Helmlinger of Jackson, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Dorothy (John) Hartman and Evelyn Ingram and her brothers Edward (Marge) Wolber and John (Marilyn) Wolber, along with several nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at First Christian Church, 2511 E. 3rd St., Mishawaka, Ind.
