Norma Lee Roach, 95, of Dowagiac, passed away on Monday, Nov. 2, 2015, at The Timbers of Cass County in Dowagiac, Michigan.

A celebration of life Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, at Clark Chapel & Cremation Services, 405 Center St., Dowagiac, MI with Pastor Stacy Wilder of Calvary Bible Church officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Norma was born on Aug. 7, 1920, in Pocahontas, Arkansas to Ferd and Lula (Armstrong) McNabb. She married William W. Roach in Pocahontas, Arkansas on Feb. 6, 1937. After William passed away in 1975, she poured herself in to her grandchildren and her many friends of the community. One of the things she enjoyed the most was co-coordinating and caring for the babies in the nursery at Calvary Bible Church where she has attended for 62 years. Norma retired from Sealed Power in 1980. She enjoyed attending the retirement parties every year. Norma was a very determined woman. She raised her six children with a strong but loving hand

Norma is survived by, three sons; Billy Roach of Dowagiac, Donald (Colleen) Roach of Dowagiac and Stephen (Debra) Roach of Eufaula, Oklahoma; two daughters, Shirley (Glenn) Stewart of Dowagiac and Phyllis (John) Valdes of Dowagiac; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren, and a daughter in law Marie Roach of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, a son Charles Roach, daughter in law Sara Roach, two infant sons, three brothers and three sisters, a grandson Michael, two great-grandchildren Heath and Jill.
