Christine Louise Weede Pola passed away April 6, 2015, in Portland, Oregon, surrounded by family and lifelong friends.

She was born Dec. 27, 1948, in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, and was preceded in death by favorite sibling Patrick Weede, and parents Edward and Jeanne Weede.

Her spirit lives on through daughter Tara Winters and son-in-law David, grandaughter Lindsay Kildahl, grandson in-law John, great grandson John, and a soon-to-be-born great grandson.

She is survived by her other favorite siblings Jayme Salinas and Michael Weede, best Friend and housemate Charlotte Frazier, and her dog Blue who survives his favorite person to guard and herd.

Chris spent her childhood years in Niles and Traverse City, Michigan.

Chris worked three years as a stewardess for Universal Airlines, travelling the world, having adventures and making friends.

Chris spent most of her adult life on the west coast, living in Alameda, California and West Linn, Oregon.

Chris was a gentle soul who never willingly hurt anyone by words or actions. She never met a dog or baby she didn’t love. She will be greatly missed.

A celebration of her life will take place this summer in both West Linn, Oregon and Traverse City, Michigan for friends and family.
